My Perioral Dermatitis Rescue

So if you have ever suffered with any kind of skin complaint then you know how awful it is whether it is acne, psoriasis, eczema or in my case a mix of Melasma and perioral dermatitis. So after throwing every cream and potion I knew at it as well as taking oral steroids from my doctor, I found my saviour…….

I did some investigating and discovered a skincare clinic whose philosophy I really liked and whose reviews seemed really great. They use a skincare range called Osmosis Skincare, which I will admit is pretty pricey.  The products are free of toxic chemicals, SLS, phthalates, parabens, gluten, artificial colours and fragrances. So none of the nastiest stuff which also means the range is oncology friendly. I have to say, I’ve been using this range for 5 days now and I cannot believe the improvement!! I am using the Purify Enzyme Cleanser which I really love. It leaves the skin incredibly clean, it also removes all makeup and I have used it around the eyes without any irritation. It also doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight which is something I find with face washes. I follow it up with the Rescue Epidermal Repair Serum which has probably made the biggest difference to my skin. I had a red, bumpy rash all around my mouth and up to my nose which is all but cleared after FIVE DAYS!! It nearly seems too good to be true but its healing and improving every day. I didn’t get the moisturiser as I was going to use up what I had of my own but I was given samples of the Quench Moisturiser which works incredibly well with the serum. I think the serum started to work even better when I started using the samples, so much so I am going to pick it up before my old moisturiser is finished. For the first time in a long time, my skin is glowing! It’s starting to look really bright and healthy.

Now that my perioral dermatitis is almost gone, I am going to focus on treating my melasma. I was so down about my dermatitis that I didn’t even take pics to show you the before and after!Sorry!! But I will take some of my Melasma and let you know my treatments work. Osmosis skincare is not a cheap range but so far I have been really impressed with it and don’t think I will be changing it any time soon.

I know how horrible it feels when your skin is being troublesome, I have linked the products above and here is a link to the Osmosis website if you want to read more about it. About Osmosis. Hope you have a great day and if you have any questions, pop them in the comments section.
