Tips to Get skin Wedding Day ready!

Every woman wants to look beautiful on her wedding day so here are some tips on how to achieve that glowy look…

1 ~ First you need to start a really good skin care routine a least a few months before your wedding. Either see a dermatologist or beautician to get a skin care assessment if you have concerns. Also try to have monthly facials if you can.

2~ Drink LOTS of water! It will flush out toxins and help clear your skin as well as keep it really hydrated.

3 ~ Wear SPF and don’t forget to wear SPF on your lips too. Lots of lip balm’s also contain SPF. Extreme cold or sun can cause dryness or worse…cold sores if you are prone to them!

4 ~ If you are suffering from sun spots then see about having more intensive facial treatments such as facial peels, micro dermabrasion or photo rejuvenation. Start these as far out from your wedding day as possible so that your skin has a chance to recover.

5 ~ Don’t forget your body! If you are wearing a strapless dress or an amazing 60’s inspired dress then you want to ensure the skin on your body is well hydrated and smooth also. Ensure you have regular body scrubs and moisturise daily especially if you want to use fake tan…here are some extra tips for tanning .

6 ~ Diet is so important and preparing for a wedding is stressful. The closer you get to the big day,the more the stress piles on and this can cause havoc with your skin. Try and keep your diet as healthy as possible in the weeks leading up to your big day. It will be worth it in the long run. Here are some tips for destressing.

So if you are getting married, are a bridesmaid in a wedding or have a big event coming up that you want to be all skin ready for then I hope these tips help.
